In my Honours American Literature class at school, my teacher asked the class an interesting question. Who would be the one person that you would call during the last moments of your life? I couldn't answer, I had no idea, I went home and almost started crying under the pressure of feeling obligated to answer in some way. I couldn't answer. Can any of you answer? Again: Who would be the one person that you would call during the last moments of your life?

Its not really a question you can get a definate answer to. Its according to what part of your life you are in. Are you still young? Are you mid-age, or are you in your senior days. Are you married or single? Do you have kids, those kinds of things. I would have to say, I would want to talk to the person I love the most, and be with them till I die. Thats the best answer I can give.

for some reason i feel like i would call a certain girl who for some reason means a lot to me, but we are not in a relationship or anything like that, we arnt even like best friends. but come to the crunch she is a really good listener, and i dont know why, but she just means a lot :S

obviously opinions may change over time i guess

I agree with patman, it depends on your stage of life. I'd say I'd want to call my girlfriend, we have plans for the future, and I'd liek to spend the last minutes of my life recapping on all the good times we've had and talk about what things we had planned.

That's why I was having so much trouble. I still don't know who I would call, I'm leaning towards what tc1 said, I would call my girlfriend, and tell her I love her, etc...

well its usually a hard choice and most of the time it comes down to either family or your girlfriend/boyfriend.

I am guessing in the real situation the answer would be there, you can't really work out what you would do in that situation for sure. Its great you take it seriously though

Girlfriend or parents i think is most likely.

i mean, we can all say who we think we will call now, but yes, it may very well change come the time off passing away..
