Of the 181 Wireless Access Points picked up by netstumbler, 67 had no encryption and were unsecure, with 28 of the access points having thier default name as the SSID, which also means that they most likely havnt changed the access passwords for the modem, either.

Shows how much people dont know about simple wireless security, ay?

wow... the first thing I do when I install anything with a default password is change the admin pw O.o

yea i never use default passwords i change them right away on anything

im not searching for free internet, lol, im just searching to discover how many people have wireless, how many people secure it and the areas where the trend in unsecured networks are.
