IBM T20 laptop. Sometimes it will run for days and then just shut down, sometimes it will run for 30 seconds and shut down... Any one have an idea what can be causing this? They were told if they put a screw driver into the usb port and unplug the battery and hold the power button for a minute or two and plug back in the battery it will start up. Help?

Erm, the screwdriver bit i think might be wrong...or is it?

The battery might need replacing, get on e-bay...the batteries on these laptops can be anything from an 1hr battery to 5hr...

no, the screw driver bit works, I was thinking maybe it's not discharging right or something... maybe an LED light hooked to a USB male end?
