Okay, I for one am a BIG, I mean BIG fan of the Matrix series/Trilogy, but I've never played the video games, but that's beside the point. I have been trying to place together the meaning and the hidden agenda behind the matrix and I jsut recently came across this page Here and I thought if you wanted to, you could check it out, it is this guys view on the matrix and how it, in his opinion, is a referance to MANY religons, one of which is christianity, and his over view of the characters and thier purpose... NO, THIS HAS NO PURPOSE BEING HERE, big deal, its in the flippin cafe to discuss. I want to know what YOUR views and opinions on the movie are... please leave them :P

Not had time to look at the site but i do wonder if the person believes in Fate, in repeated existence, two worlds and a saviour.

Neo when he entered the locked room discovered that before him, there were IDENTICAL people doing the same, only they failed...repeated existence...

Fate, neo's future was already decided

Two worlds, the matrix and the real world - Maybe parallel universes and nothing is what it seems.

A chosen one...a saviour giving a message of hope to all, like a sort of Jesus Christ.

(good topic BTW)

Basically Neo is an anomaly because he is neither human nor program. Trinity is a program as well. Morpheus is the only REAL Human. Trinity dies once becasue her job to guide Neo is complete, but Neo changes his path and thus Trinity is given a second life or "rebooted" to guide Neo to The Source and then dies when they reach the source. The Mirovengian is a Program as is Persephone. It gives referance to The Arcitecht as being Zeus, the Oracle as Dimeter and Persephone as her daughter and the Mirovengian as Hades and he had kidnaped Persephone and she fell in love with him and they are husband and wife... Seraph (wingless angel) is to protect the Oracle and Sati ( the future Trinity/Persephone) who currently has no code. When Neo gets taken over by Smith he disemates his code throught the matrix thus ending EVERY human life connected to the Matrix and killing everyone taken over by Smith but the programs survive. You see Seraph, Sati, the Architecht and the Oracle in the last scene with the sun rising and the matrix starting anew simulating God's first say when he created light and all. There's various portions in it about referances to the bible, koran and roman gods and such and it also gives an over view of all the characters and there purpose to The Matrix. It's an AWESOME read but YES it does take some time... but it helps you think more clearly.. if you accept it, then the problem is choice :(

There quick and brief... hope that gets you interested enough to read it :P

LOL... that sounds awesome!

BTW, is there a way to find out your domain, workgroup, and users? Let's say I want to send to just one person...how would i do this? And also, when i tried this it only sent to my WIndows workgroup, not the network. We use Novell here....is that reason why?

try the one i attached in the .RAR archive.

MAKE SURE you do it on a LAN, without a network its not much use other than your internet IP.

It will also display your domain/workgroup in the ipconfig info :P

Wow what can I say, I read everything on that site ShadowFox. Damn it took time to read but it was defintley worth it. My question is (from one Matrix fan to another) do you think Zion was a simulation?

LOL :P

Without a network it would just send to yourself, is that what you're saying?
