There are some programs you can share over a LAN.

For example Office 97/2000, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, Dreamweaver & Flash MX (not sure of latest versions) winrar, winzip, Nero Express and Alcohol 120%.

How?

Just share the folder they are in!

You can also i think share a folder with read/write permissions and install to a remote location, i haven't tried it. If that works it would mean on a machine with hardly any space could have Office 2003 running from a remote location, but it wouldn't work on the PC you installed the files to. That would require it installing locally.
