Yup......ATI gotta have 2 GPU's running to compete against the Nvidia cards, only way they will win really <_<

This is a monster... We are quite far from the bomb that was my 6600GT at the time. :roadrunner:

Cool... but the war continues. I think we may wait for another monster... Maybe the GTX280 X2 :roadrunner:

i hear that ain't gonna happen. the 280 dies are big, so harder to get a large batch that work out of a wafer, the heat/power, etc. on a single pcb (i can't see them pulling off a slim card with two pcb. heck, the thing would be as thick as a brick :roadrunner: , hotter than heck, etc.). and as i noticed, in those tests, sometimes three 280 were need to really best a single 4800x2. i bet nvidia will put out a smaller die, and give it a go, though i dunno if it will be a 280 "x2"...
