ok here is the current windows desktop. It is actually 2 separate images that flow into one very well.

Japanese characters that say Jinba Ittai, which translates to something roughly like "the horse and rider as one". I am thinking I will someday have this painted or with decals added to the convertible.

storm, I love yours. Sphere's Yuffie is pretty cute too. Mine looks pretty much liek last month : still the nVidia eye, but a different image, and now in 1680x1050! Here it is.

Ow, and I love frequency scaling support in Linux (Windows doesn't support it correctly, for some strange reason)
Scaling switch speed is 2ms! it jumps to 2GHz per core when starting an app, and drops when the app has started.... so brilliantly and actually WORKING!!
