Due to heavy bandwith usage, we have decided that all sigs may not be greater than Width of 400px and Height of 110px . Advertising is allowed as long as it is typed under the sig in normal font. Users have one week to change their sigs.

Again, I can say with a clear consciesness I don't know what happened to joejoe's sig. I only pm'd you (him) about it to size down. I am very sorry for you, because besides the oversize, it was a goodlooking sig!!
Anyway, I'm from now on gonna take a close look on what's happening on sig-image sizes.
Everyone's sig crossing the line coming 15th of july, he or her's sig will be removed (original image will be preserved) and a warning to asap change/size down their sig.

You have a limit to file sizes too btw? I'm thinking of 40kb...
in JPG, that fits easily!
p.s.
The forum rules need adjustment now

hey Sphere, good idea re: editing/updating site rules. i would also agree w/ a reduction in file size, though 40 seems a little small...

currently, for the 200x500, it says 80 kb, but check my size, Lino's, Dutchie's... they're all below 40!

It's the image size that matters. a bit of text under it isn't a problem.
Though make sure you're not having half a novell under your image! Your text is kinda long, but okay.
