I know tablets are pretty decent, my dad has one, I can't use it because he has a bloody password on it, but how does the power in it compare to that of a normal everyday laptop?

hmm I wouldn't know, I am one to stay up on technology but tablets never caught my attention, sooo, needless to say I haven't used one, sorry I can't help ya :)

It really depends on the brand and the model/charecteristics of a tablet PC :P. I haven't seen a really powerful tablet PC, and I think that it could work for 5-7 hours. Didn't actually use it though, but read that somewhere

It all depends on what you're comparing. SOme laptops change into tablets nowadays as well.

i like the fact that the whole screen is like a PDA kinda thing, but id never use it....your probobly better off getting a laptop as it would be cheaper and most likely more grunt

onlything i ever used besides a desktop computer was a laptop, i never used a hanheld or anything like that

yes.. I use mine for if I have doctor appointments or my work schedule or I use it as an MP3 Player :P

Yes.. the iPAQs are nice... even has msn messenger and IE on it :P

msn messegner, now that could come in handy.. :P i use ie, and sometimes firfox, i wounder if firefox would work on one, any one evey tried
