I am a KDE man here although XFCE ain't bad

I always liked the KDE but Gnome was good too

Has anyone here tried XPDE? I tried to install it on my Ubuntu system but I gave up after a while

Tried it... killed it pretty fast, it's not nice to work with for a real Linux user... at least, I can't work with it with ease...

A bit, yeh, it's mostly the look and so that's windows... but on main, it's still a Linux Frontend piece

Gnome, but Xfce 4.4 beta1 is great! That's one I'm missing here, Xfce. It's ranked 3rd on the list of most used:
1. kde
2. gnome
3. Xfce

Anyone tried elive linux? It's debian with the enlightenment window manager. It looks great but I haven't tried it yet.

I used XFCE for a while and I think it is really great. But I have become to acustomed to KDE and Gnome
