I have been listening to THEreminGIRL a lot. Here are a couple live performances of her:

And here is what she has finished so far (had to reduce quality of the first one for upload):
Attached File  01_Bye_Again_THEreminGIRL.mp3   3.64MB   0 downloads
Attached File  01.Wish_For.mp3   4.47MB   1 downloads
Attached File  02.Shalmora.mp3   6.16MB   0 downloads
Attached File  03.One_Day.mp3   5.66MB   0 downloads
Attached File  05.Momentarily_Here.mp3   4.43MB   0 downloads
Attached File  One_Day__doyeq_remix_.wav.mp3   5.96MB   0 downloads

I have been told that she is completely okay with the sharing and downloading of her music. :) She isn't even done with her album yet, but we are privileged enough to have these.

The videos don't do her music justice. They are all so great. I have been on an indie kick for a while. I just hold my breath waiting for her next track.

Almost easy-listening and a staple of retail stores the world over. But it's deliciously subversive. Muzak-friendly melody with lyrics, in my mind, about an abused child returning home to burn down her parents' house with them still in it. Always liked this one but it's been a minute---Shawn Colvin, Sunny Came Home.

I've heard this song done other ways. My uncle Jimmy used to sing it every Christmas and I always thought he wrote it, lol. A girl straightened me out about the history of the song (my ex-fiancée was from Ballina, Ireland, and her brothers and dad played a great version). All apologies to my UK friends if Luke Kelly is a star but this version at the end of 'In Bruges' gave me chills and was the first time I heard it this way.

Sitting around the house as the wife prepares the Thanksgiving Dinner. We are having our get together tomorrow (Saturday the 28th). We are planning for 13 but that is always subject to additions and deletions. We have Christmas music playing in the background as she is busy in the kitchen. As she cooks and dirties dishes, I get to the sink and keep them caught up to use again or put away. I miss all of you but you are never far from my heart and thoughts...Bill.
