Generic x64 Atheros drivers?

has anyone managed to find any x64 based atheros drivers? (e.g. for the Netgear WG311T?)

I thought those are related to the router's firmware, not a driver.

It is a chipset for some wireless routers.

ooohhh.
why would you need drivers for that ? doesnt the router have its own Firmware ?

atheros chipsets are used in routers and wifi network cards alike - my netlink wg311t uses them but netgear is refusing to build up some updated drivers for it :)

just incase someone else looking for a x64 driver for atheros based cards - this is a x64 driver for the wg311t but also works on most atheros d-link products (and probably more i dont know about :))

Many thanks for this link..After hours of trying unsuccessfully to get my D-Link WDA-1320 to work in XP64, I stumbled upon this forum. I downloaded and installed the Atheros drivers for the Netgear WG311T. It worked perfectly with the WDA-1320, after responses from D-Link that they did not support x64. Needless to say, I am a happy camper. I chose the WDA-1320 because it is one of the few wireless adapters with a low profile bracket to fit a slimline case. I owe you one, and thanks again.

You would likely get the best result from going here for your Atheros drivers.
