I found the WindowsFX... Very nice, I like it, I might actually have to buy it, just amazing thanks again for that link!

p.s. I recomment this program and believe it or not it doesn't really slow down your computer and I don't see any change in memory/page file usage, so It's safe for slower and lower ram machines :P... I think I need to make a review :)
Yes! WindowFX is a really really nice alternative to dwm..it cant actually skin windows but it can make them translucent and add all sorts of tricked out effects. If you look on Wincustomize, they should have extra shadow presets/window effect scripts.

Hehe, if you want customization, google for these..

Yz Shadow
Yz Toolbar
Yz Dock
Konfabulator
(all free)

www.deviantart.com (amazing selection of skins/themes/wallpaper/everything)
www.socksoff.co.uk (awesome wallpapers, professional)

Iconpackager
Windowblinds (can take up memory though)
Both cost money, but they also have trials.

If you want to get into more theming and you dont want a program to do it for you, you can use .msstyles which can be found on either >deviantart< or wincustomize. if you need help with this at all..well okay i'm getting WAAYY off topic haha..so just start a new thread and i'll be glad to help.

I only use one of those, YZshadow.

Also i found that YZshadow runs best in high priority, i whipped a up a batch file in the startup folder to start yzshadow in high.

start /HIGH d:\progra~1\yzshadow\yzshadow.exe

Whats about the 3D DWM effect in winmain_idx?
Does it works? In (only) winmain id does not!!

The not disappearing sidebar is the manually inserted one!
