On it now. However the Adobe Flash isn't in 64-bit so the "Today" flash movies on my at&t Hm page didn't work until I opened the x86 ver.

I made sure the anti-phish was auto. Hope that still works when using Maxthon.

Downloaded and installed and IE 7 is quick. So how come it came with the Yahoo tool bar? I got my download direct from the MS site and the toolbar is there. Is there something going on between Yahoo and MS or have I missed something (I've been know to doze off now and then)? I know I can turn off the toolbar and uninstall the thing. Just curious why it came down as a part of IE 7 and why there was no option to decline the toolbar installation...talker.

I had no issues at all with the installation. As a matter of fact, it was so smooth that I thought that it didn't install and was waiting for IE 6 to show up after the reboot. I have been using the Avant Browser for a year now and really like the setup of its tabs and functions. However, I have set IE 7 as the default so I will run it through for a week or so before I drop the hammer on a final decision...talker.

No! And I have NOD as well. Where did you download it from? (not MS - noway!) Or maybe try an indepth scan by NOD. AND try some new malware detectors. I'd be concerned :(

Yup......downloaded from MS!

Ran a FULL scan after install and all was OK....ran the usual Spyware checks also......nothing!

One thing I have noticed after install though.

A new process is running called 'ctfmon'......have disabled in Msconfig...but it keeps loading on boot?
