Do schools in your area use Macs or PCs? If you don't know about your area, just vote according to what kind of computers were in the classroom when you were in school.

As for me, my school is almost all Macs running on OS9 or the latest OSX. They all just suck. The drafting class is the only class at my school with PCs.

Elementar schools around here use Mac's, then 6-12 is all about PC's. I can't imagine how much money we pay Dell - we just got about 50 Celeron D computers - and some replaced **** that didn't even need to be replaced...

When I was in school then PC's were only being used, there weren't any Mac's within the school.

Well AAPL is giving good discounts to elementary schools
so that's a reason why there are more macs in some schools
AND, it's "easier" to use for younger kids...but I was one of those kids complaining to the teacher that these computers suck and that she (even though she didn't make the decisions) should go get a new job because she is just ruining the fun with computers...yea I was a bit of a **** - a 8 year old kid giving lip to a teacher :smoke:

When i was in the school we just had PCs. At university we had about 90% PCs and 10% Macs (but most of students couldnt use them).
