Jay, I tend to disagree with you there.
Clinton brings a new term to "Bedhead". Hillary did more work than Clinton did.

Yeah sorry I gotta say, Clinton wasn't the best guy in office lol. Also you've gotta think what was going on in the 90s with economics. Computers maybe? Technology got a huge boost and many companies were created and expanded, creating entirely new job fields (many of which are very well-paid). The Internet became more widely available giving birth to online companies. Maybe that happened to have some sort of influence on the economy. We were also finishing withdrawing from the Gulf War, which means more money to spend on other things. Also I'd like to point out that the economy is something the government can control, and that power is based in one office, called the Federal Reserve. They control inflation and deflation. Yes, some policies can influence the economy, but they aren't the only influence. My point is that he didn't single-handedly make our economy stronger, because it would have become stronger anyways with the revolution of technology and the withdrawal of the Gulf War.

Haha thanks all! I've been interested in politics and economics, it was one of my favorite subjects in high school. Its really interesting the way our nation's economics work. Some things we do are kind of scary, and only a small percentage of our citizens know about them. For example the whole part of the federal government controlling inflation and deflation. Most people just think, hey, the more we have, the better, which is good but things cant last forever and when they don't, stockholders withdraw and everyone has problems. Its just how our system works. Anyways didn't mean to get off on a tangent there lol. :P

Bingo.. and nicely said.
May I add, Old man Bush laid a nice foundation for the incoming president. Clinton really didnt do anything while in office. (name one thing in his campain speech Clinton accomplished). Bill was on vacation MOST of the time while in office.

what's wrong with vacation? It's good to relax every once in a while, or for 4 years is good too, 4 year paid vacation sounds great to me!

Maybe I should run for president.. I probably couldn't do any worse a job than most of the presidents.
