What makes you like or alternatively dislike linux?

For me, as much as i am suprised by how good most of the distro's look, its the lack of depth to the OS and missing Windows. i am hooked on Windows. The Startmenu, Taskbar, loads of software.

Linux is more of a toy till there is a serious distro released. Watch this space though, cos novell have something special brewing, i watched a video and its NICE. The first linux to look good and have things in it, i'm getting an evaluation copy sent when its released <_<

And I def. need to get a real life again... I'm bored with my current life, ideas can be pm'd to me!

The problem is you are missing features that make windows, which makes you miss the Linux features. I love Linux, it handles like I want, and I can contral it to all the small details. Besides that, I like the look better.

You're talking about the Novell thing, but I wonder how much more it will bring, I'm afraid it will disappoint you

It's just that people who use windows look at the bad things of linux and the good things of windows, if they would just change that around....
