Yes its true, either on Monday or Tuesday developers can expect to see the December CTP. The Build number is reported to be 5270 but 5276 has been floating around also.

Even Microsoft claim this build is a step forward from Septembers build which is no suprise really considering we didn't get a November CTP.

Some of the rumoured features or 'tools included are the Parental Controls feature that we haven't seen since back in the 4xxx days, Windows Defender for fighting spyware and also some GUI Enhancements.

Tell us what you think of Vista!

well, if its 11-17 builds up, we'd certainly hope so!

Also, as it gets closer to Beta 2, it becomes more of a complete package. Of course, its not complete till the RTM, but you know...

I agree, i can't wait for Beta 2 to arrive. There were rumours of MS dropping it but the worst i can see is them cutting it down a little...Beta 2 is VITAL!

x64bit.net will be sharing this build via fast FTP, but we're going to do things different this time. We will be looking for active members before the release of this build to share with.

Its not too late to become active guys!

I just hope that the access window is better than the last two times. Buth times I got info to get the file in question, but by the time I was able to actually access it, the access had been shut down.

it's not 5276, 5270 and should be here monday unless some crazy **** goes down :withstupid:
KW13 - other people were posting that they'd hope it leaks on monday, in general people hope everything leaks on the same day, but it generally doesn't happen (at least not to my knowledge)

well, the near feature complete, december ctp is only two days away!

i would never say use Vista as your main OS, its stable for messing around with and with 5219 we saw its cool on a test machine.

Dual boot with it is my advice! - unless your clarky with 20 fast Pentiums there :withstupid:
