Apple is in a bit of trouble after users discovered the latest itunes collects data about them and sends it off to Apple.

You can turn 'ministore' off but its not clear AT ALL if that means Apple wont be sent anymore data. There is no option under preferences to set this.

The information collected by ministore is just sent by Ministore without any suggestion of what it does.

Apple claim its purely to help users find related songs to what they listen to, but there are other ways of doing this.
