With the exception of the few things that I mentioned in a previous posting, IE8 was fast and stable. By choosing the IE7 Emulation Mode, the two problems that I mentioned were solved but then it was an emulation of IE7 and not a functioning IE8. Also, in Add/Remove Programs, the footprint of IE8 was only 4 MB which makes me wonder that this Beta is not much more than a shell that says IE8. Perhaps when the RCs get here we can have a better look at the new browser...talker.
