Here is a great article on machines tagged "Vista Capable" and what is going on with the "Vista Capable Law Suit"

Quote

For example, one February 2007 exchange started with an e-mail to Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer from board member Jon Shirley, who explained that he upgraded one of his computers to Windows Vista only to find it was experiencing compatibility problems with two of Microsoft's own MSN applications. Shirley wasn't upgrading his other computer because of a lack of hardware drivers. As many early Windows Vista users know, Shirley wasn't the only one experiencing those kinds of problems, especially in the initial months after release.

Hmm.. I already started to not care about all those law suit acts.

Like, come on, about 15 years had passed and nothing changes in/with Microsoft.. ;)

Thanks for the topic Nv :)

My lappy is "Vista Capable" and everything has worked fine, minus the video card drivers.

I do have to say that it comes down to HP not supplying any support for it though. Nvidia tells me to go to HP and HP tells me tough luck. If only there was an easier way to get support for Vista issues.

My basic problem is X-Fi audio drivers, especially with ASIO ones... Creative not fixed their problems.. 120$ is like spend for nothing..

Ok, I know this isn't Vistas fault but still, the problem stays a problem..
