Seems they've updated and now provide both 32bit and 64bit Catalyst drivers specifically for Beta 2 of vista.
Haven't got around to trying them out yet, just giving you guys a heads up

I've downloaded those new drivers.

I think the new size is due to the new instalation system. I'm not absolutly sure about it but i think this new instalation system as a kind of update system behind. So that you don't have to download new drivers all the time the are released.

It searches for hardware on your desktop and only presents to you the available drivers to download.

In this 43 Mb download pack, drivers are included but i think when updates are to be released you can update through there what its needed.

This is my guess. I haven't had to time to research yet.
