Title really says it all. After Valve's claim that they had missed their initial target of Winter 2005, Valve have now set a date for their next Half-life installment. But before you read on, please remember that last time they did this they did overshoot by 13 months, but surely lightning won't strike twice.

Valve are aiming for a release in both stores and Steam on April 24th, they will also be releasing yet another Platinum version that will combine all of the Source stuff at the same time for those that still find downloading 10gigs a bit of a stretch.

Halflife2.net also apparently has some new shots to go with the news but it seems their server is suffering as a result.
