That's right, after the long wait and all the backordered parts, I finally recieved my DFI Motherboard and the Intel 2.93 GHz Processor... ohh what a happy day :P, but... I lack the ram that it needs so Now, time for more saving and not using the computer :cry:

I'll add pics when my camera starts behaving.

It requires PC2100 DIMM

Please inform me, does this have to be run in parallel?

I don't know if it does or not. Doesn't it say in the manual?

ShadowFox to make that CPU run at its full potential you will need to run at least PC3200 / DDR400 in Dual Channel Configuration.

well you could probobly always buy one stick and run in single channel mode, then when u have enough money, but another of the exact same stick and change to dual channel?

I was just curious if I HAD to do this right off the bat, I don't want to buy a stick of $75 Ram just to tusn around and buy ANOTHER one when I could have saved the money to begin with and saved about 20 bucks and went with dual right from the get go. I don't have the money right now anyways :)

It should say in the manual whether you need two sticks at the same time....most mobos do...
