ok here it is....

i will be installing different Operating systems on this spare computer and then taking Screenshots.
If you have linux, longhorn or Vista installed...Whistler, neptune whatever screenshot it.
Please no screenshots of XP, 2000, ME, 2000, 98, 95 or whatever.

Here is Redhat 9 - A free distro of Linux. and also Longhorn 3718 a VERY early and ugly build

i will be back shortly with something else installed

Here is another i installed, Linspire.

The install was actually very quick but for some reason there doesn't seem to be many differences between this and my redhat install...

Just so people know Linspire is actually SOLD for approx $50 yet it comes bundled with more than Windows XP including a media player and an IM client and browser.

Why aren't they being sued by the EU?

looks like a beaut karl, I for one find Linspire the best linux

it found my network and my shared internet as well as XP would, Redhat required messing around.

So far my favourite OS is still windows.

I will... when I have a good speed... better than what I have becuase I like my pictures to look GOOD
