Were having the worst snow in decades here ATM, 4 weeks of the stuff so far. Digging the car out everyday, no mail, no parcel deliveries, airports closed, schools closed, no public transport running - Country has ground to a halt lol!!
We had our first big snowfall of the winter two weeks ago: some 30-40cm in 48h. Sure, traffic was bad for a day or two, but it's just the usual thing and it's worse since it was the first time of the winter.
But yeah, I understand that since you are not used to this, you do not have the equipment and experience to deal with such weather of course.
Oh, I just read that London had 100cm in one day... Oh wait! That's London, Canada!
And how do you deal with that snow? Did you make a snowman with a hat, a carrot and a scraf? I remember when I went to Berlin in 2007 kids were crazy about the "biggest snowfall in years", so it must be even worse now in the UK!
BTW, do that snow, massive floods we see everywhere, hottet and drier summers and other foked up weather have something to do with a "climate change" of some sort? Of couse not...
And...
MERRY DOODIE BALLS TO YOU TOO!!!!!!11

Which irks me no end. I see all those other countries who get lots of snow, especially Canada, and they deal with it professionally and in a prompt manner, with little to no disruption.
This place falls apart as soon as half and inch covers the ground and the whole place is up in arms
Still, all it has to do is ease until Boxing Day, then I'm off outta here for 2 weeks in the sunny Canaries, cant wait!!

LOL - You should see this place. I sh*t you not we got half the snowfall that ye got up there and we can do sh*t because of it. We're waiting to get salt delivered for the roads .. .for three weeks . That's how well prepared we were!!
It's all good though. The salt will be in Cork Harbor tomorrow. The day before the thaw is supposed to start
