Less than two months after the final release of Windows Live Messenger, a new build has been released last night. No word on any changes in Windows Live Messenger 8.0.0812.

i found this as the "change information"

WLM Build 8.0.0812 has changed very little from its previous build, so the fixes will not be obvious to the user as of such but you can be assured that some of these fixes will fix connection issues when sending/receiving messages along with using the webcam.

Also just so you know, the following files have changed:

abssm.dll

lcmdata.dll
MessengerClient.dll
msncall.exe
msncore.dll
msnmsgr.exe
msvs.exe

Oops, I should have mentioned, you need to be careful with the mess patch, READ EVERYTHING :o and understand what you are doing. also make sure you are applying it on the correct version of MSN

No worries. I hadrly use MSN anyway. I did the "previous version" option and all is good again :lol:
