:talker: >> During CPU test (Red Valley) the frame rate was extremely low, i thought something was going wrong ! Is this normal ? ? ?

yeah, that's normal. I think RJ is the only person who has seen that test at 45fps. :talker:

I've been watching the prices and various weekly rebates on NCIX.com and TigerDirect.ca for the 8800 GTS 640MB for like 2 months now (I was hoping the AMD/ATI cards launch would make the nVidia prices drop) and I still haven't decided to pick one yet. But soon... soon I shall buy one and beat all of your scores! (If my CPU is not too much of a bottleneck that is...)

After some tunning Scara's is still 7% faster

Stock:
Core @ 560 MHz
Memory @ 1700 MHz
On Load GFX Temp ~ 77ºC
3DM06 Score: 8710

OCed:
Core @ 640 MHz (+14,3 %)
Memory @ 1800 MHz (+5,9 %)
On Load GFX Temp ~ 85ºC
3DM06 Score: 9659 (+10,9 %)

I've seen some reports of 8800GTS core @ 647 and mem @ 1870 (935), but i'm afraid of going further with stock cooling... also with core @ 645 and mem @ 1820 (910) some strange black lines started to appear on the screen during gameplay <_<

I am satisfied with this mark

~update~

C2D E6320 @ 2.80 GHz Score: 2403

for comparison...

Athlon64 3000+ @ 2.25 GHz Score: 834

Very nice scores my friend!! The performance difference between nVidia's 8*** series and the 7*** series is incredible. That 8800 is a nice card, eh?
