Oh, so you're not talking about physical jumpers....like those two pin thinggs?
Yes. Those.

I emailed a techy, and he told me to clear the cmos, but what good will that do.

I did it anyways and still no luck, im gonna ask for another one since i have a 1yr warranty =]

Oh and KW13, in the physical manual, there is no CPU Jumper help.

And RedInferno, is that your name on MSBetas or do you have another name?

Im retired staff from there

see on dells, they have these 4 little led lights labled ABCD and judging by which one's light up you can determine what is wrong with it... I still say it's a processor problem... it's gotta be, that or memory because those are the most common problems I run into when fixing a computer.

For example Eclipse don't leave components on the outside of components, or build it all on say a carpet...it 9 times out of don't affect it, but it can break components if you aren't careful.

Did you wear a Anti-static wrist band, sometimes you carry a charge and can kill the pc...

Just play with those jumpers, get me a CLEAR and LARGE picture of all little jumpers and writing on your board

Hi,

have you use other ram, other cpu , other videocard and other hd with your mainboard. test it, because it could also be the the ram isn't compatible with your board. there are many situations for the faults.

wolft

Try a minimal configuration!!!, plug in only the power switch, no reset etc.
