The idea of improving Clock speeds and cache sides, has ran it's course.
People want POWER and stability now, personally i think AMD are the best chip for that.
Everything from more speed to less heat!
What's you view on this?

AMD seems more of a stable option (For me)

u get both Intel and AMD's sides of x86 extensions, like mmx 3dnow and sse
but also massive overclock-ability without the extreme heat, i oc my Winchester with 1.7 volts and its faster and makes no more heat than a Extreme edition 3.6ghz
And AMD's dual core's Architecture and design is far Superior to Intels Dual core using 2 standard chips stuck together using Duct Tape.

Also with AMD, i really miss the old K6-2, i OC mine from 400MHz to 600MHz or something like that, it had 256mb ram and that, was a top of the range PC...
I still sit there in the dark thinking of the good old days
