I saw on MB.net that Windowsblinds Beta is supposed to be around floating on the web...FIND IT cos it means you can have DWM in XP :)

i would imagine so mate...i just hope it works at all to be honest, if it's beta i can't see it being AMAZING yet, but it will come damn close

Hm...I can launch wbconfig.exe, after placing wbsys.dll in /system32..but it can't apply skins. Is there any registry settings it adds?

you need to run the exe installer, read the txt file. That is the install log, it lists where the files go and what files were run and in what succession.

Does anyone know how much memory this thing sucks up BEFORE I go installing it? WIll err I mean SHOULD there be any substantial difference in the opening of programs and such?

my friend installed this and now he has this "webhelp.dll" loading everytime he boots and he cant delete it..i think ill wait for the full version

It may be trying to load at startup, click start, run, msconfig, startup tab, the disable the offending program from autoloading
