Which format do you think will win?

And do you have a Blu-ray or HD-DVD player?

Blu-Ray=Sony, so HD-DVD for me. My dad used to have a betamax (I'm too young to really know much about it but I do remember watching the first Batman movie on betamax). I don't have any of those overpriced-for-what-it's-currently-useful drives.

:victory: I'm with ya on that man! My TV is 17i or something. :victory: But it sure seems like Blu-ray is going to win this one. In the States at least. They already have Blockbuster. Anyone know which way Netflix is gonna go?

LOL, yeah I like that they go both ways!! Cause I go both ways so that works well for me since we use Netflix! However, I really hope that Blu-ray wins, and I'm pretty sure they'll win!

I voted HD-DVD, an to be honest I only did it because of Sony Corp. They have done so many things to Hurt their customers that I don't feel like helping them at all.

The Betamax was also a better format with superior picture- yet VHS won that one due to popularity.
HD -DVD will be the more popular I feel so it will also win in the end.

According to the Japanese porn industry it will be Blu-Ray as that is what they have chosen to use for their releases. Saw an article on it recently and figure the market is starting to swing that direction maybe....guess we may soon see the choice made.

It is all over the web though...
