Having tried numerous versions of Vista and having not been impressed along with that nagging that something just isn't right about the OS, I will be sticking with x64. I will continue to play with Vista x64 on another system and I am building another system for Vista x86 but unless something (or you guys) changes my mind, I will be with x64 for some time to come...talker. :smoke:

I will stay with Linux 64 bit, never seen a blue screen of death.
Dual booting with Vista64 rc1 and do not see any improvements in performance. Still have the "freezes", which indicates M$ still hasn't figured out how to separate the kernel from the rest, and software for the Windows 64bit platform is very limited. The WOW implementation is not very good, as many 32 bit applications do not run well. Using the "Program Compatabiliy Wizard" does not improve things.
As for drivers, I have been able to get Linux 64bit drivers for all my hardware, but not with WinXP64 or Vista64.

In your introduction, you said you'd be using FC6-pre until tomorrow. What'll you be switching to then??

My son is getting Vista in a special deal from Intel because he works at an electronics store (Micro Center)
So I guess I will have to use it also just to keep up! :chriso:

Alot of people say they will not use Vista- but I remember alot saying that about XP also, and what are they using now? dwflo and Sphere probably has the best chance of going without using Linux. :cool2:

I agree Road!!

I heard about that deal that people can get that work at electronic stores like Best Buy, Circuit City, Fry's, Micro Center, etc. Sounds really cool, I though about getting a job at one for a few weeks just to get it and then quit. However, you have to work there for several months. lol
