Do you think Vista will make it out by January 2007? Even people at Microsoft are a little bit skeptical about the release date. Many critics are saying that the latest Beta 2 release isn't up where it should be. Place your opinion here.

The fact were at such a landmark after all this time is good. Vista will want faster and better computers and its almost new ground. You can't advance and not have peaks and troughs in your programme.

I am sure that once Vista is released fully, be that in January or later that it'll be a good product and up to scratch.

Well,it's been 3 more months-
I think that although they want to have it out by January they already have missed the Christamas season so they won't be trying to hurry it out before it's ready-
Like finish getting all the security issues ironed out.
I say March.
A few delays will make it a couple months later I think.

no way - there is still a fair distance to go, but then again - microsoft are good at rushing out releases with tonnes of unfixed bugs

You mean the "Hasta La Vista, Vista" ads? http://ibloggedthis.com/2006/08/07/hasta-l...-vista-picture/

I like it

Anyways. I voted no. Can't see MS hitting the Jan deadline.

If they do, it's just a pimped XP, not a new Windows version, so I voted no
