I have used Solaris, Redhat, Windows, and Mac OS, but my main one is Windows XP

What have you ever used?

DOS, windows 1.1, 1.2, 3.1, 3.11, 95, 98, 98SE, ME, neptune, 2000, xp (all flavours), server 2003, linux fedora core 4, lindows, windowsPE

3.1, DOS, 95, 98, 98 SE, ME, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista Beta 1, Various longhorn, Ubuntu, Linspire, Redhat 8.0, Suse, Solaris 10... I think that's about it.

heh I don't really know if those are considered OS's yet because Longhorn was only a code name and Vista's still a Beta.

i also have WOAF, (windows on a floppy) - managed to get windows 3.11 small enough to fit and boot off a single floppy disk :(

... Karl, you're an over achiever :( Naa just playing, you have tried a lot of OSes though lol, which one of those are your favorties, other than Microsoft :P?

Does X-Box count as trying an OS... I mean if you load up the Linux on it?

The Operating System i miss the most is actually Windows 3.11...although i had tried 2, that was AFTER and also 3.11 was my first Windows OS that i owned.

I loved booting at command prompt with the following...

C:
CD windows
Win

One of the easiest ways to get used to DOS/MSDOS

As for the XBOX linux, that is a particular flavour i think, you can put 98 on it...

XP won't work due to lack of ram
