if you dont have an answering machine, you can install answering machine software in your server, Software A-Machines can have as much memory as your hdd fits and can do some rather cool stuff like send an email when you get a message n stuff

I have heard that if you have VoIP you can use a Software A-machine to ask the caller if they want to leave a message or relay the call to your mobile phone, the A-machine software can Cyberphone call you and simply act as a relay for the call.

Well, we USE to have a spare DSL modem... but not anymore... I would mail it to you but you said it's not offered in your area right?

But it is obsolete, just because something is obsolete don't mean it cant be used.

HaHaHA i agree wholeheartedly.

Funny tho our ADSL uses the same cabling as 56k ;P and also the same basis of technology, DSL is just 56k on Massive Steriods.
