Right now if you want the best go with Nvidia. I always find Nvidias to be so much more reliable and w0000t at Digital Vibrance, i really missed DV when i got my 9800pro.
Oreilly you might want that 6800GT back, it has Shader Model 3 while X850 does not, you will missout on HDR rendering in a few games.

i'm not into gaming Visentinel, just wanted to try an ati movies look
smoother, warmer, and aero glass looks so good... how are the nvidia
lddm drivers?
