well, the 7800gt/gtx seem the ones to get if you just have to have the higest
frame rates...i switched to ati just recently, and will more then likely wait for
the r580 cores, or diretx10 (well maybe not that long :P ) before i purchase a
new card (i gave my daughter my 6800gt when i went with the x850xt pe vivo,
and unless i can find a cheap quadro somewhere, i think i'll hang w/ATI for
awhile).

Right now if you want the best go with Nvidia. I always find Nvidias to be so much more reliable and w0000t at Digital Vibrance, i really missed DV when i got my 9800pro.

Oreilly you might want that 6800GT back, it has Shader Model 3 while X850 does not, you will missout on HDR rendering in a few games.

i'm not into gaming Visentinel, just wanted to try an ati :P movies look
smoother, warmer, and aero glass looks so good... :D how are the nvidia
lddm drivers?

LOL, I agree...NVIDIA's are much more reliable..once NVIDIA comes out with a rival to the XT1800 I'll be back aligned with NVIDIA again.. :)
