Now that I discovered the 5231 Build available has BOTH x32 and x64 builds in the .ISO, and can say that Aero Glass works on a Mobility Radeon 9600 w/ 64MB RAM. I just got it installed last night (and discovered it was the x64 version earlier this morning), so I haven't had too much time to really run it through its paces. I'll start doing that tonight or tomorrow.

Windows on Windows

its used to run 16bit apps in NT / 2000 / XP / 2003

now it will be used to run 32bit code in windows 64bit

Now heres the part im not sure of...
however since your cpu is x86-64 wow64 will simply rout 32bit code through the cpu instead of emulating it.

Is this correct ?

Advantages of a 64-bit PC:

1. Can address larger blocks of memory - more efficient processing of larger files and images.

2. Can address more Physical RAM - providing greater flexibility in configuration.

3. In the case of AMD64 (aka EMT64), can run 32-bit applications natively, in many cases with a slight boost in performance over a 32-bit system.

The improvements in speed can be as large as 250% actually ;D

Benchmarks have shown that 64bit computing speed increases range from 5% to 300%
