Got it downloaded (in just over an hour over FTP - nice!!). Too bad it's taking longer to install it, though. :P

Actually this isn't, that was the Winmain build this is IDX03, which is more stable and faster and more reliable with a bigger ISO when unpackaged, this is the best Vista i ever used :P

You mean the September 5231, this is the October leak :o

At the end ftp have worked for me! Thanks!!
Download at 170 kB/s is not too bad, isn't it?

But also like in winmain version in this winmain_idx03 I have no DSL availible!
Why?

With my TRICK from winmain post I have now a MODEM Dial-Up!
But how can I get DSL?

In winmain my SiS900 Ethernet card was not recognized from VISTA, now in the idx03 it is! But not possibly to choose the upper two menu points for Dial-Up!

Could I get a trick for "installing" a DSL Dial-Up icon via REGISTRY on my desktop?

AND: Why can I not activate? The serial from here (read in the forums here) is wrong?

The key we provided won't activate, give it sometime and other methods elswhere will appear *hopefully* to get passed this.

Oh and also folks we are no longer supplying vista, the password for the FTP has now changed.

We hope all those who got it from us enjoy it and really enjoy it, 42 members got it from us and that shows how popular Vista REALLY IS :P

In the future we hope to do similar things, please stay with us and help this place grow :o

So is the ISO vista_usa_5231.051004-2120_x86fre.iso? because if it is I have it and if anyone need I will put it on my FTP server so you don't have to kill your bandwidth because this is one of the best site's on the net that offers free stuff for the members! In fact this is my new home page lol thanks Linoman and all the other admin's for this great forum!

We have given Vista to about 43 special members. The download has now expired, we hope to bring you even more downloads in the future. This thread sums it up
