The command prompt is a shadow of itself, back in the day it was a major key to windows. Now its an extra, do you use it for anything still or not?

I make .bat files which rely on it.

in school...to ask things I can't
at home, I'll play and do things with it for fun, copy, cut, paste, run files from there :)
and I'm always pinging, checking ip info, dns refresh, etc.
you could still do a lot from cmd

You can also send messages and YES automate processes from a batch file.

I need to do a small guide on those. :)

I use it for almost anything... but then again, that's the Linux Konsole, not, as in windows, an addon, but a necessary piece of software for the linux worker

I use command prompt to configure my network connections, change the time and date (it's easier than clicking for me), and some other various things. It's not a huge part of things I do, but it's cool to play around with :) . I also use the net send command to send messages to my friends at school when I'm logged on to the school system. It's screwing around with newbs telling them your hacking there machine or something. LOL!!
