Sigh, I was going to....but then they said they wouldn't do it.

So I am looking into sateillite w/ 1.5 mbps

Verizon suks! i had them at work for DSL, it was always down and the network was really dirty. Most Addresses were even blacklisted It probably would be ok for a beginner, but i warn you, get a firewall

but work connections always suck.
the admins do it on purpose.

and your supposed to have a firewall on any isp, and even if you have 56k.

Satellite costs allot.

My internet is $150 a month but :P
But i get Unlimited Download :blink:
Like clarky i live in Aus and here Unlimited 512/128 is $100 on just about every isp and if u want 1500/256 you gotta cough up on avg $160 a month.


RedInferno have you thought of ISDN ? thats 128k//128k

I got 2mb upgrade recently from blueyonder, which is their lowest service. Their intro service is now 2mb, then up to 4mb then 10mb. I wish i could afford the 10mb soooo bad/

same, lol, i couldnt handle it, i went to my friends once who had 56k and i was almost in tears, lol
