Okay... if everyone thinks it is soooooo easy to do then help me out. I have a Linksys Wireless-B Router and port forwarding IS configured to direct to my computer, apache is installed and my page is put in the htdocs folder and it is there as I can access it through my home network, but not outside.... I have a fujitsu speedport DSL modem and verizon service... I use DYNU but I also have the XAMPP server thing... any other ideas/ help?

is port 80 redirected to the system?? (or what port the website is on)

also the windows firewall blocks ports sometimes, do it manually

You will need to go into advanced options in the ICF and configure the services that are allowed...like, if you want to make your server "pingable" you will need to enable ICMP.

Port is set to 80 and to forward to my computer... I turned off the firewall and STILL got the same effect.

Just out of curiousity, what does happen when you enter your external ip? Do you get the router's menu or just a 404 error?

to be honest.. I don't know everyone tells me it's a 404 error... I'll have someone take a screenie sometime
