As your aware Sony will support Blu-ray Technology with their PS3.

The XBOX 360 will soon be able to support HD-DVD with an external drive being released by MS later this year as they failed to get it in the final console, which was the original plan.

I think that its great these companies realise the potentiol of new DVD technology, although I wonder which one will dominate

thye get more money this way, but I like it for the the shear fact, it cost me less to buy one now If they'd added that in you'd probably have to pay an extra 100 bucks O.o

True. Cos it would of been a rush to get it in, they were already losing cash on the console so this would of hiked the price up.

To Microsoft's credit the XBOX 360 has been the best console of its time i think apart from when the Sony Playstation wiped the Sega Megadrive and Saturn off the map.

well actually I really don't know BOTH companies have wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Too much money at their disposal O.o

but they also have a common damper, technology, they can only advance thier devices at the speed at which things are created adn made better, so who knows when the next console will come out... this comming christmas ore 4 years from now O.o
