Yep, that's what allot of people are finding out.
Those that are running XP now can will probably be able to run 7, but the promise of an XP mode will end up making them unhappy with the choice to upgrade.

"The XP mode does not support games and we would have thought that there were few applications that XP can handle that Windows 7 could not."

So tell me- why even have an "XP mode" ?
