Has anyone heard if the Motorola RAZR V3 will eventually work on the sprint network?

Since Sprint and Nextel are still CDMA networks , the Razr is a GSM based phone, you can order the CDMA version for 1100+ online but as far as it working with Sprint...no news and it likely wont

***OFF TOPIC*** Isn't there a way to hack the phone so you can use it even when you switch networks?

Or won't it work with this one because it's based on GSM and the others are on CDMA?

I looked into unlocking it, but it will not work with my CDMA network. I wanted this phone too. :P

you can actually buy the phone with no service at all, the thing about GSM phones are that you only get the sim chip from them that puts u on their network. This isnt the case with CDMA , GSM is all satellite based , CDMA is still ground base technology which is still far and wider than GSM but the majority of the company's i see should be moving to a GSM style network eventually.

i believe november 28th is the date of the moto razr v3c :P
its the razr v3 but for cdma! it'll also have a 1.3 megapixel camera B)
it will be a two-toned razr, and two new gsm razr v3's in a blue and a pink...and the v3i (i think thats what it is) is what has beeen previously known as the razr2. These are all coming out soon, as weel as a razr v3x, that i think is already available in england? nothing good ever comes to the united states! ******* asia has cellphones that we won't see for years!
