Hi all, like many people here, I come from the other site which doesn't need to be named I guess... I was known as Le_hog back there, maybe some of you might remember me. I'm still more or less active there, but I feel the place is getting boring so I decided to come take a look around here and join the people who first introduced me to 64-bit computing. So, hi !

oh come on you know I didn't want to be mean. It's just that the planet is not what it used to be. Since many of the most active members "left", it is not as lively as before. I mean, last year I stopped going there for a couple of months (girlfriend was keeping me occupied) and when I came back, I found out many people were missing and it just wasn't the same thing anymore. I am absolutely not denigrating anyone, people who are still active there are nice people too, but something is missing... And I hope to find it here ! Also, it's with them that I started folding, and I intend on continuing with the same folding team. But maybe I'll finish reputting my old Athlon 900Mhz together, run Linux on it and add it to the team here 24/7.

btw, just want to precise a thing to chriso and others : "le" in "Le_hog" isn't "Lee" or whatever, it only means "the" in french, so read it as "the hog" Yah I know it's a kinda strange name, but hog is just a mixed up version of my name (Hugo) that I use in games when you have a 3-letter space for high scores, know what I mean ? I used that once in Crash Bandicoot 3 (!) and since then it's been my nickname...

Anyways, it's good to see old names again.

Roadrunner is exactly right but let me add some to his statement. It is not just the whole gang but the gang that made the other site a fun place to be. They are here now and is exactly why I am here now!

Yeah that's what it seems. I wasn't as much an active member as some of you, but I still enjoyed the atmosphere there. And USM... of course I remember you, rookie taunter ! In fact, it's because of you that I am here now because it's with the talk about your "departure" from the planet that I've learned where everyone was. Until then, I had thought you had all been eaten in your sleep by the monsters below your bed or something while I was away last year... Glad you're all alive !

oh, and thanks for all the warm welcomes ! (Is that a sentence in english ? I'm having problems with my english sometimes...)
