I love that site, but I also have a job, duty and obligation to x64bit.net. Maintaining a board is like raising a child, it goes through its good days and you also have bad days. Fortunately for x64bit, I have not seen any bad days, and I hope I never will. All you members are great people and I vow that if I am no longer interested in this site, or not able to maintain it, I will pass it off to one of my admins who will promise to keep the board happy and healthy. I enjoy having everyone around and posting interesting information. I also enjoy reading your blogs and getting to know you all. You members (staff included) are an inspiration to all our new members.
KW13 has been a big help to me although I did not hire him, Linoman, my Boet did. He found us skins and pesters the hell out of me throughout the day, Not to mention keeps the activity going on the forums.
Linoman is the brains behind project x64. Without him, we would have no SQL, and no South African on a 56K modem!
BeGiNnEr, if you get spam, it’s from him!! Really, he’s working on getting our e-mail up and running for Staff and Members! Look for you@64bit.net
Adam, What can I say! This guy is my mentor. I joined Flexbeta and man, was I a n00b!! I remember begging for longhorn, spamming the boards, and none other than Kelpfries took me in and allowed this horrible member to download LH from his FTP. What’s worse is my FTP Program kept crashing his server. To this day, I am indebted to him for his kind heart and the help he has given me.
Clarky, well let me tell you, this is one of the sharpest Guys with a real level head, let just hope he don’t get it shot off in a good game of laser-tag
Serb-Man, I couldn't live without. He is an inspiration to anyone going through life on his own. Attending college, DJing, beta testing, and modding, I don’t know where he has time to sweep the women off his apartment floor!! I thank him for his contribution to the board and especially his customization packs he so generously gives us. Truly he is a man on a mission. I wish him all the success in the world.
All my news posters... Where the hell are you?? Just because we don’t have a portal right now, don’t mean you can take vacation!! No, really you guys are the cornerstone of x64bit.net. You provide us with fantastic information brought from different parts of the world to this tiny little board. WE ALL greatly appreciate your work, and let me personally thank Exploding BOB, ShadowFox, Visentinel and Zammis for the hard work and contributions you give to this board.
I would like to take a little time out to ask our members to please feel free to visit other sites, such as Microbeta.net or any other site you wish. We don’t want you to feel like you have to post here although we do enjoy the information you provide to us. I have always felt we are free to do what we want to, so no one is keeping you from visiting other sites and giving your feedback or expressing your opinions there.
With deep regret, I must tell you all that we will not be starting our own gaming clan, and that I encourage you all to join Microbetas Clan. There are a lot of good members whom you probably already know, where you can fight side by side and defend Microbeta's good name! Enjoy guys!
This week our server went down due to a power failure which affected most of the Los Angeles area. It has taken our host just about 2 days to get all the servers working with each other, along with the switches and routers. Thank you for waiting this out with us, the staff and I appreciate it.
We have a little surprise being uploaded to our server as we speak for our valued members. It is taking some time because it is just about 3gigs. It will be available as soon as it’s all there. Until then, please don’t ask
I guess that’s it for this week! If anyone has any comments or suggestions, please feel free to respond here or PM me or another staff member.
Until next time, Get Bit, by x64bit.net

KW13, you were the first person that pm'ed me when I first joined mb.net with a friendly hello and showed me kindness. I will never forget that.
nvyseal, you took special interest in me and have been watching out for me since, luv ya.
clarky, i am always comfortable in a board with you around. You're My good ol' Australian friend, you have always been kind, replied my questions promptly, and helped me learn.
theman123, you too showed me kindness when I first came, i enjoy our MSN chats and will never forget.
Lino, you are an awesome guy! You always have these funny things to say on the board, makes for a real laugh for me after a tired day. You are the first south african I've met. Awesome!
Adam, I than you for your patience and kindness to me, especially when I was all confused in that incident I pm'ed you about. I thank you for your dedication to the individual, you care about much more than the electronic profiles.
A big thank you to all of you, if it were not for you I don't think I would've stayed active. Without you the likes of mb and x64bit would not be.
