Windows made it for MS. Office is nice and my favorite program in its field, but there are lots of free programs with almost all the same features.

You should add the XBOX/XBOX 360 to that list as they are a major MS product.

Office is nice and I use it A LOT but Paint was great too, and my most used product USE To be Visual Basic 6.0 but they have upgraded past my 6.0 and I haven't caught up with it yet, it's quite pricey so I'm not too sure on what the best is.... BUT I do enjoy the new Office

Most stuff MS makes id good, but they have made some duds too. ME for instance.
