True. Sad that some systems won't like all this stuff.
I will have to upgrade both my CPU and ram to enjoy it

Personally I think the features of improved stability and relieabity is more important than anything else. Although improved GUI is a nice touch

Vista has made great strides in becoming the next OS, but i believe it still has quite aways to go, before final.

As i say mate, if i could set the sidebar to stay behind open windows i'd be using it now. Lets hope MS do this, same as they did with the taskbar.

They still have time, just complain enough and they'll fix it

Reliability definitely, but Windows Defender is needed badly for the average computer user. Most of them don't have spyware protection, or spyware protection that even updates itself. Ad Aware is not enough in some cases too, and most people think it can fix anything. As long as Vista has a built in protection from spyware I'm happy. (at least for my clients)

So long as the features do as much or as little as you want them to and they aren't forced i am happy. For example Security Center in XP sp2 can only be shut up by disabling the service.

I like the idea of Windows Defender and Bitlock.
