iv had a look at some 512/512 plans but the price points don't make any sense.
the Port cost for 1500/256 and 512/512 for starters are the same, which makes no sense, coz one provides 1024 total speed and the other provides 1792, 256shy of double the total bandwidth.
Secondly the Plan Prices on the isp are the same or greater !? yet the bandwidth is less so the potential for data costs is reduced so charging the same price seems to be a rip off.
It makes Zero Sense.

The 1500/256 speed
Telstra Wholesale wich covers pretty much 95% of the adsl covarage in AUS only has 256/64 512/128 512/512 and 1500/256 all using ADSL Mode

here in the uk, we are expecting huge free internet upgrades for all, ntl are promising an extra 15mb's free, wish i was with them
